Between us, we've spent our careers building businesses and playing professional sport, and we've both seen, from opposite sides of the game, how far short women's football has been backed compared to what it deserves. We didn't start Aurora because the game needed a place at someone else's table; we started it because it deserved a table of its own: real investment in clubs, in technology built for female athletes rather than adapted for them, and in a culture where players are backed, included and set up to thrive. This isn't about one club or one season. It's a long-term commitment to a sport, and the women playing it, that are only just getting the backing they've always deserved.
